My perfect political candidate would be the epitome of democracy; thus she would be for the people's well-being. Why? Everyone deserves a mic to voice their views, opinions, and concerns, and I would want my person to embody and depict the conscious anatomy of the common man in America. My candidate would most likely be liberal, since she is for the people. In reference to the war in Iraq, she would view this as matter that needs the be thoroughly revised for the sake of the country's budget and the lives of innocent soldiers. In order to ward off terrorism, she would believe that it is essential to withhold the support of other nations in order to guarantee a promising outcome. As a strong believer of individual rights, my candidate would reason that the woman has the right to choose in terms of abortion. Also, she would stand on the conviction that there should be no official ban on same-sex marriage; however,in other aspects, she would be somewhat ambivalent on the subject. Health care, in her opinion, would be a necessity. Therefore, she would allow health care to be more tangible to those who deserve it, earn it, and face hardships such as retirement, old age, low income, and so forth. Nobody should be subject to gratuitous empathy and hand-outs. Of course, taxes should benefit the common people but not at the expense of those who work hard for their fruits. My candidate would want to formulate a strenuous tax plan that is in the favor of most, if not all. She would strongly believe that education should be granted to all and that the quality of education be taken into critical account. No child or adult should be left behind or left obscure from a promising and beneficial education.
